Estelle Blaschke

I am a historian of photography working in the intersection between art and media history, the history of science and cultural history. I am interested in the circulation of images, image infrastructures, and concepts of photography as information technology. I am working on the history of microfilm at the University of Lausanne and teaching photography history and theory at ECAL. I am also a member of the editorial committee of the journal Transbordeur. Photographie, Histoire, Société and part of the artistic collaborations The Migrant Image Research Group and Double Bound Economies.
